Composed of powder coated steel, solid wood and soft upholstery, the Eileen Lounge Chair celebrates the nature of its materials. A thin plate of steel is laser cut and bent on a CNC roller, creating a visually light but structurally robust frame. The asymmetric form is balanced with one thick solid wood leg, attached to a wood seat upholstered with pillowy cushions. With a contemporary but warm style, this arm chair is as suitable for commercial-contract settings as it is for residential living rooms.

The fabric is made of 75% post consumer recycled content and is of the highest durability rating available (100,000 Wyzenbeek).

Circularity

With a frame made of fully recyclable steel, we’ve ensured a path to landfill diversion (thought we hope it stays in use for generations to come!). Natural wood elements are decomposable or reusable.

Zero VOCs

Solid wood elements derived from the ash tree are finished with a zero VOC hard wax finish, derived from natural oils and formulated to withstand commercial use. The steel shell is finished with powder coat, a low waste, highly durable, zero VOC metal finish.

Recycled Content

We’ve chosen Maharam Merit fabric, made from 75% post consumer recycled polyester, ensuring previously loved materials have a useful life as part of our furniture.
