Introducing our Lift Off Collection

I’m Lauren, founder of CAVU.

I am so excited to share this collection, over 5 years in the making, with you. Many of you who have followed my work since the beginning will remember my first piece, the Cusp Coffee Table. I’d always intended for the design to be a starting point for a complete collection, and I’m thrilled to tell you that it’s finally here! All of these pieces reflect a juxtaposition between thin steel and soft, chunky wood. Each of the forms is surprising, yet understated. Over the next few months I’ll share more about the values and inspiration behind the collection. For now, have a look at the designs below!

CUSP COFFEE TABLE

A gently curving base and sculptural top come together in perfect harmony. A bowl is carved into the top, revealing the beauty and dimension of the wood while containing your drink spills.

CUSP SIDE TABLE

A simple, playful form for the minimalists who like to have fun. Nothing more and nothing less than it needs to be, the Cusp Side Table is an elegant form with a practical purpose.

EILEEN CHAIR

A soft architectural form, thin bent steel is juxtaposed with chunky, soft wood and pillowy cushions. The Eileen Chair has an understated style and an entirely unique disposition.
